Founded in 2017, Libertas Classical Community is a nonprofit, classical Christian, parent-directed homeschool community serving students in K5–12th grade in Decatur, Alabama.
Libertas exists to equip and support the homeschooling parent through shared educational experiences, supplemental instruction, accountability, enrichment, and Christ-centered community. The homeschooling parent remains responsible for directing and overseeing the student’s homeschool education.
Libertas Classical Community admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in the program. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other community-administered programs.
